average=66% TT
average without physics marks included= 71.5% at least an A2...
average without physics and a-maths marks included= 76.8%...at least an A1
curse those 2 subjects! looks like some major recovery has to be done in these 2 subjects.
ew ew ew ew eeww! im never going to look at these results again.
suprisingly my language marks went up while my maths dropped.
well, a-maths and physics are new topics i'll have to get used to. im not so good at geog coz i did not elaborate much on the answers. another learning point. im not any good at ss anyways, so nevermind ss.
i hafta improve lots on my studies now... i've been moody a few days lately after i received these marks. so someone pls cheer me up if u are reading this post ok? mumble*
today ok lar, watched 'liang shan bo and zhu ying tai' love story in chinese lesson, makes a change from writing compo all lesson, laughed at the funny parts, kept mouth very glued shut during the romantic parts...=3= and i was helping to set up the screen. melvin could not reach it...haha. but when i pulled it down the screen went down too fast and hit my hand >.< *oww~*
during english lesson, our group was like taking our own swt time and finished only the introductory part after 1 hour when we were suppose to finish all during that time...coz we were all imitating melvin the reporter and how he should act in front of a camera...lol

had to attend a musical at temasek poly on saturday so i had my tuition tonight from 7pm to 9.30pm. as usual, it was the worst class. vulgarities were used so commonly and the teacher and i had a headache. lol i acted guai. stupid pai kias!!!

i had my ic picture taken today...somehow i gave a smile that was not genuine enough?
ok, today i had P.E. we had to play this game of frisbee...
it was so boring. we fail to catch and it goes to the other team. i think freestyle frisbee is more fun! then got tired of frisbee, tried to play captain's ball but too few people to play...and OMG i was the only boy playing captain's ball. nevermind that... i had to be the basket=3='' and we were playing a boring game till the time was up. it was so easy to score... pass pass catch goal,

had my test results back...all of them! omg i was so bad at physics and a-maths i dunno what to do... i feel like crying* sniff
its so much stress, especially when you are trying to cope with so many subjects that are new.
they all seem so foreign TT
guess im gonna get a great scolding from my parents. somehow my languages marks were higher than previous year and improved drastically, while im not so good at maths this year.
i shall pull my socks up, get back on my feet, have the courage to amend my mistakes, learn from them, try not to commit them again...
THAT IS POSITIVITY!!!
ps: trying to psycho myself to make myself feel better...

went for dental checkup today.it was in school, in a mobile dental clinic
got in, saw melvin having his teeth tampered with by the dentist

first to reach the classroom this morning!i had the experience of a quiet classroom with with the whirring fans. it felt kinda cool...weird right?

today was a weirdly planned day. had recess at 9am..quite early. dint feel as hungry so i just ate 3/4 of my plate of curry rice. that was after i had my SS project presentation. You people just dunno how much i have stage fright. brrr*
i was made to set up the ''sophisticated technology'' again. why cant all teachers 'be like mr chang being able to set up their own laptops. then why else do they own laptops? o.o
then had 5 continous lessons after recess. due to the breakfast and lunch combined meal.
i did not feel hungry all day. rather than feel all fed up, today's most special lesson could be the physics. i mean, being taught physics in the library with aircon was btr than no aircon, right?
i went home, finished reading my book, suddenly fell asleep. plonk*
by the time i woke up it was alrdy 7pm...gosh...i slept like a log.
i had a hotpot dinner just now with my family. as usual im the prawn killer. kekeke...

blurr right? ya, camera not too clear. know what it is? thats my entry for the class tee design. looks cute? got inspiration from myself. want to praise me? DUN NEED LA...ITS MY DUTY...LOL. want to scold me...go design your design and show me! =3=
anyways... today had 2 tests... headache really. geog one quite easy, a-maths one, dun talk bout it...
im too ashamed =3=''. went school without my ever essential pencil case today. checked bag again and again...**** i forgot to bring it! must be in my tuition bag... swt la.... no stationary= cant write, draw straight or perfect curve lines, cant erase mistakes. sad. so i borrowed one from noel... turns out that it ran out of ink after i finished my bio homework...sighs~
so got another from noel. shi ze broke it =3=, noel say nvm coz it wasn't his pen in the first place...lol noel....wad about me? took out the catridge and wrote with it without the broken pen casing...hard time writing. back to a-maths, u wouldn't guess... one pen + no ruler + last question is a graph question= big deal of problems.
managed to complete it though...innovative enough to use my bio journal as a flexible ruler to draw a curve. used pen in the last question...OMG its a graph question...ur suppose to use a pencil u freaking idiot!! too bad boy, i've only got a pen for u to use for the entire day...
and i drew the graph...draw, scribble.....oops mistake....argh no correction fluid....**** stupid pen!!!.....frantically tries to use bio journal as ruler....dumb book! why cant u bend properly...

found out that i got good marks in english...hmm...hardwork pays off....great! i feel relieved. if its bad i got to worry more...i shall have a peace of mind. tmr is bio test, mrs ganesan A.K.A evil sarcastic hilarious bio teacher says its harder coz its set by her... study time again... bad enogh to suffer so much stress, made worse by having CIP tomorrow. have to go coach some primary 6 students. forgot name of school. still have to go tuition after that...sadly, thats what happens when u go into the best class in your school. the teachers think that being the best means that you can take so much stress... do not follow in my footsteps....jkjk......just be the best that you can be.. thats how people suceed in life. hard work is important, and not just hard work...effort is needed too... to be the best that i can be....dun worry about me.... i can handle much more stress than this....stress only come from my parents. they think im a robot they have bought. no feelings whatsoever. but i was just joking about that. im sure they care about me too. haha look at how much i wrote. look at my previous posts. obviously the effect of studying too much..

know why? coz i just ate home-made rojak as big as a mountain and home-cooked hokkien mee for lunch..
for those of you who dunno what rojak or hokkien me is, then your missing out on something that u will live to regret if u have never tried it....muahaha
lets start with rojak... pineapple, sweet turnip, cucmber and ginger flower chunks are added into a bowl with rojak sauce; sweet, salty and little mild spicy with peanuts! mixed throughly with chunks of you tiao( deep fried dough stick ) and crispy beancurd!
next, hokkien mee: fried prawn broth is added to yellow and white noodles. stirred to a thick consistency, oodles and oodles of prawn and squid is added! might as well call it seafood noodles. add some vegetables to it, toss it, stir and serve hot!
im full and im serious...

the whole class saw valerian's youtube video at Geog class today, everyone laughed, absolutely positively EVERYONE. of course it was funny.Nothing quite as interesting as that today. had 3 tests today. first and second were the A and E maths tests.
saw my results. flunked A maths but got distinction in E maths. btw each of those results consist of 3 tests. sad to see A maths getting the kick. haizz

today was quite a good day, not much hmework to do, well, i call that goodat least i got some free time to post whatever i want now.
hmm, let me tell u bout my day...
long long time ago, about 10 hours ago, we made fun of valerian and i secretly stuffed his bag in the cupboard, we all laughed including valerian when he found it, before that, he was so agitated that he even grabbed russell by the tie... OMG he grabbed a counseller!! lol
before recess, we had english and had to do the forum project,...... no i mean the news report project. haha, we had great laughs discussing it, nisha, melvin, yiwen and i, and after 45 mins we only came up with the project topic=3='', hot issues: sexism.. haha nisha kept making fun of melvin on ''hot issues'' haha.
ok skipping all the boring parts and ending up on the last lesson of the day: chemistry SPA practical!! quite fun actually. we had to distill salt water. had to set up apparatus and boil the salt water till distilled water is collected in a test tube. and i hear the breaking and crashing of lab apparatus around me. apparently, kenneth and valerian broke most of the apparatus, i did not break any coz the teacher was looking at me and i was anxious and made sure nothing wrong happened. while hearing all the melody of cling cling crash of glass. not sure what valerian broke though. before that chinese lesson was a laugh too, made funny jokes and suggestions for fill in the blanks, even teacher laughed. what a joyous day.

FREEDOM... too bad it only happens once in a while. later i got to pick my sis from tuition. at 7.45pm. i will run there again, i feel like the flash, fast fast super speed....

Gotten smacked in the face by 3 tests today.. haha i laughed, and i smacked em back^^ did not expect the tests to be a breeze, i thought they might be as tough as physics, well, mayb my revision paid off.
great!, i had PE today.. had to play basketball which i had no idea how to play..dun ask me why,
i never knew how to play basketball... it was hilarious though. can still laugh while thinking bout it. me, melvin( Low) lol haha quite a mix up in names, shi ze, clifford, and valerian were in 1 team. played against masai, kaiyang, russell, zhongming which was in the other team. haha, almost half the team did not know how to play basketball, valerian kept doing weird axtions, and when russell gets the ball, all three teammates rush off to block him. and valerian kept shaking his arms =3=''. he even bowed down to the teacher..haha, u should have seen him..if u dun get what i mean go check his youtube video.
ok back to tests. i nailed them on the head!! so relieved after that, it was like climbing up 13 stories in 1minute, which i did when i got back home. after my CCA, Infocomm club that is..
had to make a 3-d model of a classroom fan, which i made and got praised for by the instructor... did my 3-d model of classroom and resteed afterwards by using my extra time to play games or watch youtube videos.. most of the others were slacking and watching videos on youtube, haha does that mean i, slacking?
i reached home at bout 4.47pm, quite early actually. for i had rushed across a road to catch a bus. omg. so furious to get home.. my grandma still had the CNY treats on the table, ate some and dropped off to sleep due to exhaustion. just did part of the project for english forum. something bout pros and cons of providing disabled people with welfare benefits. sent powerpoint slide to pei shan.
now worrying about if i have any HW to do. pathetic~*
chem SPA practical test tmr, hope it'll be fun, just like the rest of the practicals^^ wish me luck

aaaeeeegot 2 tests tmr... remember kids...its not that great after all to be in the best class of ur school, coz u will get tests almost every week !! jkjk haha
i was the earliest to reach my classroom this morning, spent 5 minutes enjoying the silence and whirling of fans...felt lonely too... then came the next earliest person, and the next and the next and the next... spoilt my peaceful moment =3=''
kenna sabo by either kayyin or zheng wei early during geog lessons...kenna called to operate the projector and give the first presentation of the day...omg....so PAISEHHHH wthhh....
i was freaking out in front of the whole geog elective class...arggghh.... i tried to answer but my mouth felt glued shut...i was so clueless...then the geog teacher gave me some pointers to say
felt real scared... stage fright??? i felt like a puppet...grr
although some of my comments made them laugh, i really felt that there was a stone in my stomach...so embarassing, could almost fell myself sweating and face blush....
had english test... another test... quite ok actually....i freaked out at first, but since there was no summary, everything's a breeze
was so hungry during lessons...ate only 2 slices of bread in morning. bought nasi lemak with a potato thing during recess.. cleaned the plate...had fun talking to former classmates and buddies... found out that alot of people fell sick during the CNY period... haha mayb they ate too much?
hmm... shi ze is so obnoxious...noel and i hate him, coz he acts like a boss, since he sits in front of us, we had fun throwing little things like paper balls and rubber to irritate him...gosh im so evil
met the new SS teacher today...quite good actually...she said she just came back from maternity leave. hmm, she has more experience with students i guess.. coz she teaches more efficiently than that weirdo previous SS teacher...
had to go tuition later in evening, almost knocked into an ahma when i was getting into the lift, she was shocked, so was I, her eyes were so big, so were mine...haha...anyways, she said she had a shock, i apologized and she said nevermind... aiya 3rd paiseh moment in a day ewww
later went a-maths tuition...sat with noel..i din't noe jingyi also went to the same tuition as us? haha good to see someone familiar. noel kept giving me tips to avoid getting caught by the teacher to answer questions at first it really worked...then noel got caught coz i was talking to him...aiya paiseh...managed to get the answer right though..haha good one noel...
got most of my answers right too...
had yusheng just now with family...bought from sakae sushi
aiya they only provided 6-7 slices of salmon only...so cheapo lor...wish we had more
taste quite good actually... my sis and i ate the most.
im cutting down on what i usually eat, dunno why, i think going on a diet and eating the right things lets u grow muscles? so i did 100 sit-ups today. was tiring of course. other than computer, exercising is the only thing that keeps me occupied. too much hw. need to get my mind off such things.

hmm, russell's sick again today, get well soon ^^hm, i still dunno much bout him yet, he's so quiet in class, but he's quite socialble with the councellers, including big-head zihao haha, sry didn't mean to insult zihao...!!
lol, so many tests this week, feel very, u know, weird feeling that ur alone to face all this challenges urself. hate that feeling...
being one of the top students issin't exactly satifying for some of u all out there should know...
although im in the top class, i feel that i have too many responsibilities...
even my competitor and source of encouragement Xin Han has left school coz he had been demoted in scouts... wth xinhan was that even a good decision to even change schools cause u got demoted in scouts..
now i cannot relate anything to someone, not that everyone has a good listening ear..., dun even talk to me bout noel... even if he is a good friend, i feel that he half-heartedly listens to whatever i say...i amuse him, he amuse me... it keeps boredom away but not the kind of person i can relate to...
...thats why being in a top class is not as good as most people think, because of the workload and stress... hope i can get over it... its like a hangover... hmm, test...tests...tests..., sian

haha happie cny all!!!i this morning not as lucky as u all lerh...
had to go to 2 temples to pray... first one was a really large old temple...
they burnt incense inside so it relly stunk my eye, had to kneel in the hall for a chanting session.
the monk was like chanting non-stop and i managed to entertain myself by making up a tune to go along with the monk;s chanting rhythm haha. =X
it was so stuffy and hot inside, so much smoke., so crowded with people.. managed to escape.
second one was way...better. all incense were burnt outside, inside was beautifully decorated ceilings, not charred smokey ceilings. i even had a vegetarian lunch in their hall, they do this every year, make a vegetarian buffet. with free soft drinks ^^.
then i visited my Grandma's house and remained there till at night.
wow, u wouldn't expect my Grandma to have so many guests!!!
about 9 families visited her today. mostly friends, relatives and cousins.
thus i got 8 ang baos today, quite good larh, ok? 8 ang bao lerh, first day of cny...
dun think that i only appreciate their money, im not money-faced ok? actually i like their presense, it makes the whole house very lively, most of the times, its just quiet...
so excited! tomorrow is my Grandma's B-day. woohoo
she's so lucky to have so many relatives visit her!! tomorrow i bet more people will come, she's ordering a buffet. and i will b part of another of her b-day photos ^^.
i just love being and elder, haha, dun get me wrong, i dun like to be an uncle, but being a role model to my younger cousins give u a sense of authority and erm... happiness, i like watching them play, reminds me of when i was that young and i thought that the moon was made of candy... CANDY? haha.
cya, i gotta get some sleep from this exhausting day, have fun on the second day of CNY. wishing all of u prosperity..
ps: i think i have more then enough money to buy all the charity welfare tickets myself. heheh, i dun need ask my relatives to donate this year...aiya so paiseh..

haha happy CNY everyone!i had cny celebrations in school todae, not as good as last yr's but still good, cause there was lion dance?
lol that zheng wei, keep saying lion eat cabbage.. lion eat cabbage?
later went for class outing!, not exactly class, should refer as a group of ppl, bout 12 people went, to watch a movie called 27 dresses. its quite a fun and romantic comedy, my friends laughing out loudly ocassionally!, wa, i smell popcorn feel like eating.. must resist. saw that movie in Cathay.
ticket so ex, $8.50, like 1 week's allowance =3=
took 2 pics of the outing, took pic of whole group, one with me, one without me.
later went home, ate reuion dinner.
it was a hotpot! ate prawns like mad! prawn killer!! haha

whew!i've come back from OBS~!
ok here's an update:
day 1
went by ferry across the straits to Pulau Ubin!
boat ride was fun...we reached camp 2 at about 11am
i was placed in a watch( a group) called ''AMUNDSEN''.
with half the classmates in my class of 3hum 08
met the instructor, name was Kia Hong, but we could call him Kiah
he was kind of stern and strict, but he does crack some funny jokes and has a good sense of humour, the second instructor was named Chin Yong, we met him on the second day. chin yong is a real joker and he makes some really funny debuts in the 3rd and 4th day of camp.
we unpacked our items from our store today( place to put items thus called store)
tents, jerry cans, backpacks....everything
tiring work, managed to pack tents into tent bags.
we did belaying that day, then we learnt how to pitch a tent! the cooking was done by our classmates, rice was sticky, and the rest was canned food. could not sleep well....duh, it was the first day of camp.
day 2
we woke up early, went to toilet, was damn filthy, brushed teeth...
today we did kayaking. was quite fun actually =D, as no one took the solo canoe, i took it, coz it was fast and more manoueverable. later we did a rescue task, to help empty the seawater out of an overturned canoe while our friends helped. unlucky for me, the wind and waves were too strong, thus drifted us into the water channel where the large cargo ships travel. we had to paddle all the way back.
ate lunch, rations again....
new campsite was worst... we landed on the beach and towed our canoe ashore. sandflies everywhere. i made sure to spray lots of repellent! i hate bugs!! im their source of food u noe?
pitched tent, pegs could not be pegged into ground, we had to use rocks to hold our tents down.
lots of dogs down there in Pulau Ubin! and OMG toilet was 300 to 400 metres away!!!
we could not shower there, water was not clean enough. we had to powder ourselves.
had noodles for dinner. but we added all the noodles in at once, so noodles looked like mi fen...so dry....
needed to do sentry duty at 2.30 am, somehow we overslept. btw, noel, brandon, clifford and i shared the tent. we overslept till about 2.50am!! we quickly got up and did duty. dogs were howling the whole night. we finished duty and called the next grup up. went to sleep.
day 3
woke up early, had to walk to the toilet, so far away...
we unpitched tents. eeww the ground sheet was so dirty... had to pack it too.
we were to do hiking today. we carried the dumb heavy haversacks. each of us had one to store 2 days worth of clothing and food. i carried the tent bag. it was so heavy. we walked 500metres b4 finding out Valerian lost his life vest! went back to campsite, so tiring. could not find it, i wanted to put all my things down and scream, but kept mum...
later found out another watch had taken his by mistake. we continued the hike, i was somehow made the assistant navigator... now had to carry a compass as well!
noel was the navigator, well i thik i did much of the work as well....oh noel....
we were originally going to chek jawa because it was our check point, but we met another watch along the way. one of their member had to be taken back for some reason, our instructor had to babysit them. ate luch with them. rations again... due to time constrain, our checkpoint was changed, instead near another hiking trail to the west. we were in the east of Pulau Ubin which means we had to hike 6km to reach there! we hiked, i did much of the navigation. i felt the immense responsibiltity, what if i fail to lead the way, what if i got lost, what if....
we manged to reach there, not b4 we met Shi Ze's watch, their checkpoint was atop a hill, whew!
we continued, but almost got lost at a junction. that was because our map was outdated...our instructor luckily showed us our mistakes in time... we had taken a wrong left turn. we went back and found the checkpoint. each checkpoint was a metal plate hung on a tree. inscribed were words of wisdom. our next chckpoint was now the camp 1. camp 1!! i will tell you how camp 1 is like a paradise compared to camp 2. we hiked along, my moral greatly boosted by my team's encouragement? actually, we were just making jokes along the way... throughout the whole camp. MaSai, kept disturbing Valerian, because Valerian kept acting retarded... wth...it was the first time i ever heard someone proclaim himself a god!! even masai says so... it was so funny, they kept bickering the entire camp... both masai and valerian were the jokers! valerian was so obsessed with being a god and his shaking act was so ridiculous..haha . masai kept making jokes about valerian and kept calling him a gay! or god of gays.....
we reached the camp in time. last part of journey had roads littered with broken bricks... it was torture, had large blisters on feet after the hike...agony...pitched camp at a field nearby the compound. had reached paradise, camp 1 was so ( indescribable)!!! it even had a swimming pool for instructors!! its dining hall was better then my school's!! its toilet had blow dryers for the floors, had a hall for climbing element, even had a replica of a ship near the coast! it had 2 halls
it looked like a resort!!! pitching tents, same problem, followed day 2 method of pitching tent. then had a fresh dinner followed by supper. and slept, yent was way uncomfortable just like the other nights, so stuffy.
day 4
wow, u wont believe how we slept last night! like pigs! speaking of pigs, i heard the guard dog chasing a wild boar . so noisy... did not get to see wild boar...aww. had a fresh breakfast. we did climbing elements in the morning. we wore the harness and went to climb the outdoor climbing elements. we had to climb the inverse tower, called that way because the base is smaller than the top. we took turns climbing it. there were different parts of the tower to climb, we had to try only 1. noel chose the one where there was a climbing frame made of ropes, then a pole studded with climbing support, then slanting wooden logs. he says its challenging...haizzz. it makes me afraid..
look at the sheer height..must be about 4 stories tall.
we had to do it in pairs, when it was my turn, halfway up, my partner, amanda, requested to go down, i kept encouraging her, the rest too, but she wanted to go down. i felt really disappointed after that, not because she did not have the courage, but because i did not encourage her enough as a partner... i managed to solo it up alone somehow, by crawling like a worm. lol
we did raft building after eating a fresh lunch. raft-building was not as challenging because we did it as a team. we had to pull the ropes super tight. we managed to make one that floats.
well, our other half of class, in waqtch ''ARMSTRONG'' also made one, but half way in sea, their raft really tilted at the back, managed to float though. we chanted cheers and taunted other watches. then Shi Ze's group, armstrong had a great boost from the instructor's motorboat. they had to tow the raft becuase it was too slow. my arms were so aching and us 6 paddlers had to paddle and paddle like mad. we too had to get towed by the motorboat so we could catch up with armstrong. then both watches teamed up and we rowed ourselves ashore, btw the place we paddled to was camp 2 again.... i want camp 1....TT
i volunteered to go get the items from camp 1 because i could ride on a motorboat. clifford and brandon came too. it was magnificent! so fun although loading and unloading the bags were of no fun whatsoever. we still managed to get 2 rides in a motorboat. feeling the sea breeze around me was ecstacy.
after that, pitched tent. i did the cooking this time, i cooked a total of 2 meals and on other days pitched tents. pei shan claimed that she did all the cooking, grr..haha. it was such a joke..
at night valerian snored like a pig and although our tents were about 6 metres apart. i was able to hear him, was kept awake by the snores but eventually fell asleep.
day 5
haha, masai kept making the gay jokes on valerian's expense. masai even poked him in the privates witha a torchlight and he did not even respond beacuse he slept and snored so loudly. wen kai who also slept in their tent said that valerian's arms and legs went over to him when they slept, ultimately proving valerian is a gay.!!
last day is the most solemn. we had to pack and wash everything, unpack all . i did not know why i had so many food rations left over, same for the rest of us. the washing part was fun, we kept playing with the water. haha
!wantian could not lift the jerry can filled with water without help haha!
we packed everything back into the store and there was nothing missing ..yay!
we then did the ring the bell thing? where we try to make a resolution and jump, hitting a bell and landing on a support held by the rest of us, all of us had to do it.
we wrote our last words in the journal after we gathered. it was heart-warming to know we had bonded so much in 5 days. how much fun we had.
we got back all our personal stuff like wallets and phones we surrended during the first day. i got to know more about each and everyone in our group, including the instructor.
we said our goodbyes. i was so excited about going home!
we boarded the boat and reached Punggol jetty, welcome back to mainland Singapore!
