2 Days ago and yesterday

Couldn't blog 2days ago and yesterday because i came home late and i couldn't use the computer.
so, im blogging early morning today.

2 days ago:

HIHS Prom night
It was a memorable night, particularly because i got to witness my fellow school/class mates in their evening best or some wacky retro outfit.
even though we've paid about $60+ per head, the food was predictable and not really amazingly good tasting or amazingly delicious looking. we ate the food because we were hungry XD
However, the performance on the other hand was great! Mr Maran was a really good MC and he really did bring the much needed PARTY ENERGY to the crowd.

Prom was at Hilton Hotel level 3, grand ballroom
pics kinda blurry, must improve on photo shooting skills.

See that cool thin tie on Clifford's shirt? that's not a tie, but it looks like one, it was attached to the shirt to hide the buttons. Wenkai the tall dude, Russ the biker dude and Cliff the smiley dude.
Prom king & Queen, really retro.... they do fit the theme though; Blast from the Past

this was a dish, it was seasoned vegetables. it sounded kind of nice but in reality it was boiled brocolli. at least it was healthy

Kaiyang had some seriously wicked hairdo, but he smelled kind of weird when i went close to him during the photo shoot after prom.
oh, the best tasting dish.

prom ended, we took our glam pics and rushed back home Cinderella style... whoosh

yesterday:

well, i had to attend 2 interviews
one was in the morning, and the other in the afternoon.
the 1st interview was for the job of an IT sales person, part time/temp job of course, somewhere in Aljunied.
but when we reached the place(we =yx and i), the person interviewing us said that there was an age limit and only 18 and above could apply, so, that was a wasted trip.

the time between the two interviews was spent looking for a present to buy for Cliff.
we finally decided on a puzzle, which looks like two metal rings joined together and one has to find a way to take them apart.

the 2nd interview was for the job of an assistant sales associate at Robinsons. Kenneth tan, kayyin, yx and i went for the walk in-interview together. luckily we went early because there was a really long queue of applicants after us. the interview was simple. a lady just told us what was required of the job and asked if we could work on certain days. that's it.
and we have to wait for their confirmation phone call.


after that, kayyin, zw and i went to Cliff's house for his b'day party:D
had alot of fun there, especially with the wii, but also fell down once and stubbed my thumb against the ceiling while playing the wii games. ( it still hurts alittle now)
Cliff's mum cooked alot of good food but we could not finish it all>.<
i like the fried chicken though, even if the batter is hard and crunchy.



today:
Im hoping that more people will upload prom photos so that i can copy em and paste onto the blog...hehe
Im going to gym too, with zhi qi and zw at 12pm

its a lazy sunday today. im bored to death with nothing productive to do.
prom night's on tuesday. got what i wanted to wear :D
a few days after that and I'll be leaving for Hong Kong for 4 days.
I've never been there before, hope it will be a fun trip.
Im still waiting for a response for a job offer, hopefully i can start working next week.

This was a great, fun-packed day. i was supposed to upload the photos 2 days ago, but can't use the computer.
we travelled by bus from Hougang interchange to Bedok interchange. we bought groceries at a nearby sheng shiong supermarket, then we took another bus to bayshore condominium.

like i always say, let the pictures tell the story! :

we rented our bikes for 3 hours at $8

It was a great morning as the sky was clear and there was a strong sun, which meant that the weather was fine in the morning but bad at night.
Val uses godspeed to cycle....gasp*, he doesn't even need a bike, he just tele...

after we returned to the condo, i had a swim

oh we had a bbq at night, and.... it rained...darn.. but luckily the bbq pit was sheltered.
helped to shell prawns, lotsa lotsa prawns with russ
overall, it was an amazing day.
look! marshmallows, grilling over the bbq pit. want to know how the can stand that way... why, that's because i invented something to support them over the flame. that ''something'' is blocked by the white puffy goddness of marshmallows in the photo.
