believe me, it tastes just like a super pungent real durian, that's why its a best seller.



i bought a scoop for myself! it tasted so much better than normal strawberry ice cream because they blend in fresh strawberries. the chunky bits are strawberry bits and its seeds. heavenly, sweet yet light.
ya, my mascot. + NYJC 1003 was there!






i hate it when parents think you only use the computer for play. i did my project on computer the whole evening and my mom accused me of playing the whole evening. my dad doesn't want to side with me even though im absolutely correct and my mom's wrong.

sometimes its just so unfair. my mom still treats me like im still in primary 2.




read SH's b'day card to me this morning as i was unwrapping the book she gave to me.
it brought a smile to my face.

was so busy the past few days with gp and stuff so i could not blog.
but hell yeah, im kind of free today. the only homework i've got is chemistry and a half finished chinese compo.

but let's talk about the wonderful time i had today eating lunch with SH, Mel and Veron at Carl's Jr.
so 3 of us ordered portobello mushroom burger and SH ordered the chilli cheese burger.
We chatted and chatted and chatted. haha, it was so fun and time past really fast. we made our own lemon tea, and i kept eating fries....
it's been a long time since i had a good long chat with SH face to face:)
she gave me a wonderfully decorated mini chocolate log cake and a book! Tuesdays with Morries! wow, i really like the author and i've been trying to find the book in libraries. i think she was trying to surprise me with the gift.. but as she wrote on her blog, she's not really good with surprises :X
but the gifts are the most unique i've ever received. SH is the first to buy me a cake and give me a book as a present. Love the presents! thank you:))

oh, all that ODAC training is going down the drain... nvm, work harder and pump more iron to tone the body!
can't bear to eat the cake, looks too good. lol, do i really look like garfield? do i have such a sleepy face look?

lol, ___ and ___ are so compatible. maybe they are made for each other. lol.

i woke up early today just to help Mum to prepare and fry breakfast.
Did i say fry breakfast? oo..... sounds tasty right?!

basically, there's this nian gao which mum bought. nian gao is a type of sticky rice cake that is Oh.. so sweet and gooey.
so, cut the nian gao into slices, sandwich the slices between a thin slice of sweet potato and yam.
batter the ''sandwich'' and deep fry it..

mm... worth the hard work. it was hard work because i used a shallow pan to fry them. so oil was spluttering onto the stove and some onto me. ow
mm... i ate loads..
omg...****! there goes all the training! down the drain TT, all the oil's gonna be stored in my body again...
AND im going to eat Carl's Jr on tueday.... noooo.... how am i going to be physically fit for the expedition during the holidays. Train till fit fit or die of exhaustion!

meeting science group ( Sook Yi, Wei Cheng, Veron) later at Bishan library. we're suppose to meet at 2pm but you know me, i don't like to be late. so i shall arrive half an hour early to return library books and check out the books in the library.
im still left with maths HW, but that's still manageable. tried to do the rest of bio tutorial for fun but gave up because i didn't know how to answer the questions.
our science group shall try to finish our assignments today, finish or die trying! so that we shall have more time next week to rest, while the rest of the groups slog their guts out before the deadline O.O

Ivan's suggested that we organise a day for the whole class to train for NAPFA. lol. Train like crazy for NAPFA and get a beautiful body or die trying!
Chinese lesson on Friday was so boring, i ended up scribbling and sketching stuff in my handbook like an explosion of pandas or a Carl's Jr burger VS a mega Fillet'o'Fish.
it was so boring, i ended up chatting in random conversations.
it was so boring, i ended up texting SH about where to meet on tuesday.

ok, enough with the so boring. but i was glad doing all those kept me awake, and alive. must i live through this for 2 years... live through boring lectures or fall into a sleep-induced coma or die trying!

i wonder what presents i'll receive for my B'day. Sis gave me one, i'll try not to open it till tmr.
family's celebrating my b'day today instead of tomorrow, because i'll return home late on Monday, due to tuition.
speaking of tuition, Ms Chee's speed is so fast-.-, copying notes have never been harder.
at least for now :X

yawned...

im so tired right now

this morning:
3 subjects today, GP, PW and CL, but i call them the 3 compulsories.
mainly just self intro and explaining what will be taught.

ODAC training today:
1 to 2 hours was spent walking up the stairs, with a haversack filled with four 1.5L bottles.
the guys only did 3 trips to the top of the 14 floor HDB flat near the school. the girls did 4 trips, but the guys ran up rather than walked. this J2 guy in cca kept saying he wanted a beautiful body, everyone called him a ganchiong spider because he chiong in every fitness workout. or statics. lol, his haversack was filled with 1.5L bottles alright..... 3 bottles of soft drinks!
there was coke, F&N Fruitade, Heaven and Earth green tea with jasmine and last of all, a bottle of plain water.

lol, the drink stall was closed when we got back, i really wanted to buy a drink. but that J2 guy who wants to work towards a beautiful body gave me his Green tea! although its half empty, i still took it and thanked him because i cannot resist it. green tea is one of my favourite drinks. bubble tea too.

swimming lasted for 3 hours+
don't want to talk about it. let's just say i suck at breast stroke because i keep cramping my legs up, about 5 times, and the reason was that i kept kicking the wrong way.

and the other end of the pool smelled and tasted like sweat! unfortunately, my leg cramped there once. thus i was forced to take a gulp of the foul tasting liquid. it even had a gym sock-like aftertaste.... ergh

and even though i had muscle cramps, i just kept on swimming till i completed the task. and ended up with alot of pool water in my stomach and up my nostrils.

i swam till my calfs and armpits ached...
my limbs have become as stiff as chopsticks now.


chatted with Veron on bus home. she finished my red wonka nerds... i've got to bring gobstoppers tmr.
i didn't know what was Chomp Chomp till now....oh...
she stared at me and said omg, how come you don't know what Chomp Chomp is?



lol, im so sua gu, i only eat out at hougang mall XD

Celebrated Grandma's Birthday on the 2nd day of CNY~!
lots of friends and relatives of the family came. and of course, lots of angbaos' :DD
maybe i'll upload the pics some day.
there was a buffet and b'day cake.
HAPPY B'DAY MY 80 YEAR OLD BELOVED GRANDMA!

today was the 3rd day of CNY.
ate Mum's home-cooked mee siam, liked it, but the gravy was a bit diluted.
carried a small red bag with 2 oranges.
met up with ZW, Mich, Mel, Zhiqi, Amanda, JL, Andrew, Shawn, Yiwen, Nic, Brandon after they watched their movie.
Shawn treated me to a Milo dinosaur! thnx!
laughed and chat while they ate and i sipped my drink ^^
lol, i'll take the free drink as a b'day present from him.
went Yiwen's house after that. some of us played mahjong while the rest of us played blackjack.
gambled silly. Rachel and Yirong joined us later.

i was winning money at first, till i became the dealer TT, ouch. lost quite alot, especially after i rubbed Mel's head for luck. because he kept winning in mahjong and i hoped some of his luck could rub off onto me. but i eventually recouped my losses.
i ended up a measly 60 cents richer, but who cares. lol, JL sad, lose so much money.
lol, Rachel may also have lost alot of money. but i wouldn't mind if i lost some money, it's part of gambling anyway.

as the saying goes, lose some win some. when you win something, you will lose something and vice versa.

rushed back home before 6pm. i donated my winnings along the way to an old street busker while she having a rest. i wished her a happy CNY.

i found out that i've gained about 2kg after 3 days of feasting. OMG
what's more, there's a pt session during cca till 8.30 tomorrow. will i be able to burn off that 2kg of festive goodies within me?

just pondering why i chose this blogskin in the first place. i guess i like the whiteness of the clouds, maybe change it someday?

It's the Eve of Valentines/ CNY today.
Helped in spring cleaning today. reading newspapers will have to become a habit. i usually just read the Life! section.
looking forward to celebrating Grandma's B'day. already collected the cake today (blackforest, the usual), its in the fridge in Grandma's house.

ate steamboat dinner with family just now. was great:)

going to the temples to pray for the coming year tomorrow. just hope that there won't be overwhelming incense smoke again. the billowing smoke clouds hovering beneath the temple ceiling makes my eyes water. T.T

CNY celebrations in jc lasted 1 and a half hours only. liked the lion dance and CO performance best.
ODAC swimming session later on, went Ang Mo Kio swimming complex.
We did warm-ups under a blazing sun, it was so tiring and sweaty.
changed into swim wear and we did a few laps in the pool as warm-up.
i somehow felt dizzy after 4 laps and i had to sit down and rest.
later Mel came and ask me if i felt ok, i told him my stomach felt weird.
i laid down by the spectator seats. omg, terrible headache, must have been made worse by the scorching sun. my senior kept asking if i felt ok, she was so worried, i kept reassuring her that i just felt a little dizzy.
i had some rest and slept a while. i felt better afterwards, thus i went back into the pool.
my swimming ptc taught me to do backstroke. and i practiced it for 4 laps, though my speed was slow. then there was stamina training where we had to do 10 laps of backstroke and 10 laps of breaststroke.
once again, i did it at a slow pace, compared to the others. why were the girls so fast? maybe i wore pants, thats why there's more drag.
all of us practiced diving afterwards, fellow friends kept on encouraging and teaching me to do it the proper way. was touched and this fueled my determination, so it dived again and again, most of them were belly flops. OUCH! i smacked the water real hard. maybe my belly flops were the loudest...hehe. my whole chest was practically red after this. managed to do it correctly afterwards but must perfect the leg straightening part.

took bus 136 with Mel back to HIHS. met up with former form teachers teachers, wished them happy CNY. reunited with a former classmates.
Michelle gave me my B'day gift! it was a shirt with a Panda on it and a Panda doll keychain made out of wool :DD its a little kiddy, but i like it so much! thank you

sprained my ankle while running to meet up with SH. lol, nice hairstyle SH! u look like a smart kid. too bad i can't chat longer with u today, had a movie to catch.
ate lunch at Yoshinoya at plaza Sing with ZH, CP, Bran, kenneth, ZW, Benja, YX, Kayyin, Kaiyang.
went to watch Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief at Cathay afterwards with them.
Its was a great movie, just that i didn't like the ending, ZW agrees too.

Zw and I met up afterwards with Yiwen, Shawn, Mich, Rachel, Andrew, JL, Nic, Joseph Tay, ZM, Yirong and ate at HongKong cafe at Kovan. food was quite ex and rip-off. ZW ordered instant noodles with egg and fried luncheon meat, which cost him $6.50 not including gst. SO rip-off right?
i ordered no. 222(my birthdate and month) which was noodles with porkcubes with egg.
i liked the bread with peanut butter that Michelle ordered, but it was super sweet, so i could only eat a few mouthful. Nic glutton polish off the remaining bread.
lol, Yiwen lol at me because my skin turned super tanned and sunburnt.
whole group had lots of fun chit chatting about the going-ons in our current lives.
michelle did a really loud LOL at my mass dance, she said she thought i was doing tai-chi instead of dancing O.o
zw, u shouldn't have ordered instant noodles.
i think my skin is getting worse, it turned red in the cafe and now im feeling hot all over due to the sunburn.


I like SAJC uniform! it had my fave colour; Navy blue:)




i think lost weight today, due to the swimming. i mean, who doesn't lose weight after doing 32laps? actually i did only 20+ laps because i slept thru some training.


gonna push my limits, must be fit like the JC2's

hello. well, a few days ago, i promised to upload my jc class photo. so here's class 1003:


i always look forward to meeting Mel in the morning, because he always puts a smile on my face.
so there was flag raising ceremony today at the parade square. pity those wearing school uniform, they were sweating furiously! almost everyone had a wet patch on their back.
i wore my large size orientation shirt and school long pants, so it wasn't that hot for me.

h1 econs was so interesting, sat beside Veron and Mel.
Veron kept dozing off, but that wasn't the interesting part, lol. it was Mr Nathan. he was so animated and he kept using a retarded sounding high pitched voice when he emphasizes on an important point of the topic, which btw was Demand and factors affecting demand.
so amusing. next time i should buy some sweets for Veron, so that she does not doze off during lectures XD

and i was free the whole day till CCA, which was like 3pm.
so much free time today ^^
so after econs, Ivan gathered those who haven't registered their fingerprints and we went to comp, lab to do so. we went to Mac at Serangoon Central for lunch, a bunch of us went which which had only 4 boys in it. like i said, the majority in my class are females.

both Ivan and I ordered Fillet'O'Fish... ohhhh im lovin it. its such a luxury that im eating this today, because i rarely at macs. i usually eat at KFC in Hougang mall when i hang out with buddies. we ordered fillet o fish because Mr Nathan talked about it during econs lesson, he says he eats at mac at least once per week.

tried to strike up a conversation with the other 2 guys. i remembered one was named Gavin, interested in joining science society, like to play racing games.
it was awkward during those moments of silence. so i just chit chat with Ivan, or talk about our phones, or about our CCAs. the girls somehow changed the subject to gay and lesbian couples in our secondary school, and suicide cases...lol

i suggested creating an ice cream eating club in our school when Stephanie said that she couldn't buy ice cream at Macs.
oh... its been such a long time since i ate a macflurry or even a whipped potato.


went back to school. bought econs file and chem data sheet. stayed at grandstand with mel, veron, shiqi, frankie and andrew till 2.57pm. also played at fitness corner while there which was real funny. played a lame game of hiding Shiqi's watch behind our backs and taking turns to guess whose back it was behind. the wrong guesses were really funny, everyone kept laughing.

CCA: ODAC at 3pm.
station games! was separated into 4 groups. Shiqi and I were in group Stingray:)
1st station game was to climb over a high wall. i was the only guy in the team, and i took initiative, became super enthusiastic and acted as support for the others, literally. knee was a little reddish from kneeling on one knee, but i was ok. we had to do them blindfolded too. almost all the girls had bruised arms from trying to climb the wall...because they really tried their best to climb the wall without suppport at first. aw, poor Shiqi~ her arms looked as if someone had pinched them multiple times.

2nd station was to be lead blindfolded through an obstacle course. i was poked multiple times by the seniors while blindfolded. and the course looked so simple when i finished it and took the blindfold off. maybe the difficulty was heightened because i tend to imagine myself hitting a wall when im blindfolded.

3rd station was to be lead by an appointed leader of our group (which was Shiqi)through the school compound blindfolded(once again). it was quite fun at first, the whole group was guided by Shiqi through the school, following her instructions. and we went about in a chain, hands on each the shoulder of the front person. a team member accidentally fell into the drain and had slight abrasions on her leg, so the game was stopped. i was both stunned and worried. the seniors took care of her wound. i think the one who fell was Camalia. but she was really brave and positive and laughed it off as a small matter.
Shiqi says she feels guilty, but I told her it was an accident and she shouldn't blame herself for what had happened, and Camalia was a good sport.

a 4km run was next, but it was actually more of a jog. so the whole ODAC team plus us JC1s jogged in 2 lanes in 2 lines for 10 rounds around the 400m track. we did alot of warmup before and after the run.
expedition will be in holidays. will be expecting lots of training in the upcoming weeks, mainly 7 or 10km runs.

YA's life today:

morning's first gift to me was an amazing sunrise, which i stopped to admire for 3 seconds after leaving my house gate.
first friend i met in the morning was HuiHui and Melvin.
morning's first lecture was GP, which was mainly a CNN news video clip about the most important news of year 2009.
following that was a boring 1hr talk in the hall on proper student behaviour.

i had a 1 and 1/2 hour break after that. the time was used to eat lunch, with Aaron. then i bought H1 econs lecture book. hung out with Mel till GC workshop.

who knew that such beautiful pictures could be formed by a graphic calculator by entering data to plot graphs. either those ppl were geniuses or had too much time at hand. GC workshop mainly taught us the functions of the GC.

1 hour break before PE was spent with Veron, Shiqi, Sherman and Mel, eating plain waffles, drinking vitagen, thinking of a cheer for Veron, and teaching Mel how to sing the FUN song and the EMO song.
we later went to the grandstand, which most of us thought was a wonderful place to relax. the grandstand are those large stone steps where spectators sit on beside the running track. its almost always windy there.

PE today was mainly teaching us the correct techniques to get the best possible results at NAPFA testing stations. Mel is super flex. he could stretch almost a palm's length beyond his feet. i could only manage to stretch 1/2 finger's length beyond my feet.
he says its due to the stretching exercises he does every morning XD

later, hurried home. changed and went together with my parents to dad's company D & D party. which explains why im blogging at such a late hour.
it was held at Orchid Country Club.
i saw many people dressed in costumes for the best dressed competition. for eg; a man dressed as snow white with super big fake boobs, sea creatures, wonderwoman, red indians...etc

the food was quite good, i like to eat veggies. mom also agreed.
the entertainment was well, entertaining! and we got a hot plate as a lucky draw prize, the one used for teppanyaki :D i want to cook salmon steak on it!

we left earlier because mom and dad wanted much needed rest.
and wow! i saw Felicia Chin in a bridal gown! she was filming on a set in Orchid Country Club. there was an actor too, but i didn't recognise him. it was so cool, with all the lighting equipment and a bridal car. She looks pretty in a bridal gown, but she's kind of skinny.

and when i reached home, i was just full, tired and lazy. i feel sleepy suddenly~

ergh.... so tired, i just came back home because tuition class ended at 9.30pm and i stayed back to ask Ms Chee some questions. who would've known that there were 4 ppl already waiting in line.
Ms Chee says tuition class is almost full, few vacancies left. join as soon as possible.
hope that answers SH questions.

it was DISC workshop the whole day in school.
morning:
met Melvin at MRT station, together with Veron and Shiqi.
we went to canteen to grab some bites. Found out that Melvin doesn't like tuna. hehe XD

DISC workshop was held in the hall.
we had to gather into our assigned classes. the classes we'll be in for the next 2 years.
so excited XD

talked to the guy next to me after a few moments of silence. so the first friend i made in class 1003 was Javier, excluding Veron.

there was this guy who has really tanned skin, woohoo...super tanned guy. he wants to join dragonboat cca. and... i just couldn't recall his name. but i was thinking all this while, there was finally someone who has more tanned skin than michelle.
speaking of her, haven't heard much news from her, but i would like to tell her to have fun in her jc and to keep in touch.
our facillitator for the programme was Elizabeth.
i can't really recall what we did for activities, but i'll try to remember.
firstly was the shoe activity. not really about shoes, but we had to take one off. one person goes to the center and says something. eg; people who wear coloured socks.
then ppl with coloured socks switch places/shoes.
then we settled down and the programme started. we were given a booklet. we filled in our 5 possible career choices and then narrowed it down to 1. mine was bioengineer or researcher.
lol, Veron wanted to be CEO of Subway! i love Subway, but its quite expensive. make them lower the price!

after that, we gathered into groups to discuss about our choices ...etc.. as well as introduce ourselves.
we didsome other activities, like doing some special and weird handshakes. i like the sumo greeting XD

then there was this activity where we went around asking for tokens from others but we had to fulfill a certain criteria first.

OH... come on, do i have to blog everything out... O.o the post will be so lengthy~

we had breaktime after that? i can't recall clearly, but there was 3 breaks. two 1/2 hour breaks and a 1 hour break.

but after one of the breaks, we took the personality test. we had to circle the most possible and least possible option of 4 given choices in a question, about 24 questions in total.
tabulated the results in a table and plotted some graph thingy. so my public self, private self and perceived self all peaked at I which means im an INFLUENCING type person :D

so we separated into D,I,S,C.
D= dominant
I= influencing (im in here :D)
S= steady
C= compliant

Elizabeth is a type D. haha, bossy but fun.


minority of the JC1 were the D, majority were at the I and S while C was a little less than the I and S.
and boy, were the I group and enthusiastic group!
so many people shared the same dominant behaviour as me!

played more games together after that.
all i could remember was that i had lots of fun. typical of the ''I'' behaviour.

word games afterwards was fun. we had to form alphabets using our ourselves. the 12-foot game, too, was great fun. required alot of teamwork and strength. was suprised at how flexible some girls are. i can't even straighten my leg past my hips!

we had to write a reflection of the day, i think i wrote the longest, but if you really want to know, here goes:

Overall, this has been a very memorable and enriching experience. the games organised have allowed much important build up of bonds between my future classmates. I felt that i had the most fun during the word games because it required us to make use of our creativity & our teamwork. The breaks in between the sessions have allowed me to converse and interact with my friends.
Most importantly, I have found out so much more about my personality today, as well as the personalities of others. I have learnt that behaviour is ever changing, and a dominant behaviour exists.
Lastly, it was a great chance for self improvement and I've learnt that teamwork is key in group activities. So therefore, through the activities, I have greatly enjoyed myself today.

so lengthy right? and the last sentence is so typical of an ''I'' person.
may get class photos taken today from facebook tomorrow, because fellow classmate Stephanie hasn't approved me as friend yet. haha


oh, and im so tired, i've been typing this and facebooking since i came back from tuition.


SH forgot my b'day -.- and asked me just now.
''I'' ppl don't usually get depressed. So im not depressed even if u forget my b;day.
but since i told u, u must buy extra nice present for me m'kay?

sis got Wonka Nerds for me!! yay...


see? i weekend very no life. i even managed to finish reading the bio notes, the 43 page one. but doesn't mean i don't need to listen to the lecturer for the next 5 lessons or so.
just when you thought you've learnt everything about bio in O'levels. you reach A'levels, where you find out that it was just the very tip of bio you have touched upon. knowing this makes me feel both disappointed and really enthusiastic at the same time.
bio is so interesting, despite its heavy content.
(im currently munching on the wonka nerds, yeah, i know i probably shouldn't consume too much sugar, but how could i resist?)


do i release the energy in the form of a lot of heat energy?

gonna find out more about personality and such stuff.

im currently reading my bio lecture notes... so im going to blog about 1 hour later, meanwhile this post remains blank.....








ok, after 1hr, i've gotten sort of uninterested and stopped at page 28 out of 43.
today:
2 subjects today. can't believe it! Pw and Bio. pw was just a 45min intro lecture, before that was a 1 hour talk on scholarships and student service learning.

1hr45mins of sitting. when my legs ache, i huddle them. after a while, the bum gets sore, so i tuck them. then my legs ache again. this was repeated throughout the whole time.
im beginning to detect a pattern here. that long talks are a necessity in JCs.
im sense impending gloom~~

so after all those lectures..etc, i was released from the last lecture of the day at 12.30pm. i had to change my size 42 shirts into size 40 shirts. but i had to wait till 2pm for the stock to arrive, thus i ate lunch, fried rice with chicken cutlet.( it was friday, yay! all food stores sell fried food! chicken cutlet is an official favourite!)
then i went running on the track with chawin the hardcore running guy. i say hardcore because he has done running training 4 days in a row.
it was mid-day, so we were sweltering like mad when we went for a break.
i saw a guy holding a bagful of fried breaded shrimp, chicken bits... all those breaded fried stuff and felt hungry. so i went to the store selling japanese food, because i assumed he bought it from there. the store-lady offered me a 3 in 1 fried stuff set which i gladly and promptly agreed. to my surprise or shock, the set came with rice too.... and a bowl of miso soup
i knew it was a waste if i didn't eat it. thus, within a span of 1 hour, i consumed 2 meals.

super full.

skipped dinner afterwards. but i feel hungry now...

talking to melvin and veron is fun, melvin is so random sometimes. he still likes to call me Tanya and rub my head though. Melvin is still quite undecided on joining the student council or house exco. haha, indecisiveness is a no-no flaw you'll have to correct to be a student leader XD

FBTs are way better then HIHS PE shorts. they make you look sporty :D

My new specs are a wonder, bad thing is that its as tight as a head clamp. gonna get it adjusted during the weekends.

okay, call me fickle-minded but i've decided to join ODAC instead.
im afraid the rigourous training schedule of dragonboat CCA will affect my studies.
Melvin kept scaring me with stories of how half of last year's dragonboat team got retained.
i've got friends joining dragonboat too, as well as others joining ODAC.
but, after receiving my 2-cents worth of advice from my parents, i've decided not to join dragonboat. firstly, because ODAC has activities that are more diverse. secondly, because i like running. thirdly, ODAC activities are more leisurely.

today's lectures were zzz...
like a repeat of last year's lessons. H2 maths was ok, interesting lecturer. H2 chem was a recap on the basics. H1 chinese lecture was just a lecture on the syllabus.
im not taking any h2 arts subject so there was a 2 & 1/2 hour break for me to buy my uniform and PE attire
sat with Melvin and made friends with Veron and Shiqi today. making new friends everyday:)
turns out they knew my name before i knew their's. O.o
as tasked by SH, i offered some tissues to Mel.

yupyupyup. later, Sherman and Frankie and Andrew Chee came along and we all sat together throughout h2 chem and h1 chinese with other ppl from HIHS whom i do not know yet. Melvin started becoming restless during chinese lecture, lol, after the lecture, he kept singing Bad Romance.... oh the horror...
Sherman dozed off during chinese, and we kept giggling (we're still childish at heart)

went library after the last lecture to check our assigned classes. im in the same class as Veron :) class 1003, Hi 5! Mel was in class 1011?

sherman, frankie and andrew had pe later, so they left first. we to mrt station. that was when melvin started to chant orientation cheers o.='' then i also joined in for some reason. they alighted at kovan and i alighted at hougang and went home to sleep for 2+ hours before i went for math tuition.

ok, YA shall answer to the tagboard now.
SH: you welcome :D yes, NY got alot of nice guys and plenty of weird ones too. its a kaleidoscope! hmm, are you man hunting? omg scary~

there was this irritating guy during maths tuition. kept talking during lesson about his boring lectures... and he drones on and on and on....

omg, my FBTs are size 3L and they reach to halfway down my thighs when i squat. but as a guy, i think that doesn't matter.
going to change uniform shirt size tomorrow.

GP seems interesting. im looking foward to next lecture but i fear my enthusiasm will run dry after a few months, hopefully not. its an important subject.



all Bio teachers have a dark sense of humour.

and the bio notes are damn thick.
they made it a point to scare all Bio students on the very first bio lecture.
a biologist must be strict, disciplined and have proper etiquette.
i will keep that in mind for the next 2 years of jc.


The econs teacher was really fun. but i had a hard time concentrating because i slept little the night before. note to self, sleep early.

my waltz dance partner knows my name but she doesn't want to tell me her's. she keeps joking that she knows mine and refuses to tell me her's. funny sense of humour XD and she was the one who kept calling me tall. she's considering a CCA that isn't too time consuming.

CCA bazaar was highlight of the day. i had so much fun visiting the booths. donated $1 at the INTERACT booth for a paper crane to help some children. wrote a message on the crane, it may sound cliche but here it goes: Be strong, Be tough, Be a survivor!

considering to join ODAC or Dragonboat, but i've finally made the decision to join dragonboat just now.


im going to take my own advice and sleep early. 2hour break tomorrow!!! will spend the time buying uniform, pe attire ...etc

whew, just came back from jc.
it was Disco Night just now, that i will talk about later.

i shall post pics first :)
i always have a wonderful view of a sunset when i leave the house door. this is today's! brilliant huh...

to SH, i finally met Melvin in the morning. lol, like after 4 days ,then i found him, like some rare treasure or something like that. anyway, he didn't need a pack of tissue.
i tapped my ez-link card on the scanner this morning and it gave a delightful beep!

Today was wet games day.
and well, honestly, i forgot the names of the games. well, i don't really need to tell you what the game involves. again, pictures can convey a lot of information.

this game involves carrying a wet sponge in between your elbow. ooh, now i recall, the game's called Elbow power. reach a pail at the other end and squeeze the water out into a bottle,without use of hands.
Gamemasters kept blasting us with streams of water.

and there, me. finally. it took like 5 uploads to get all the pics on a post, half of which were taken by my OGL Joyce! i gave her the phone. kidding. gave it to her for safekeeping, but she took so many good pics. thank you:)
wow, that guy in the background is really hunky. and our school has many super tall people. some even taller than Wenkai. gasp~ testosterone gone wild.

hello dance partners!



second game. easy guess. why is a balloon tied to everyone's feet? well, the answer comes naturally; balloon popping war.

3rd game: 2 teams compete to remember each other's tribe member name. then, the 2 tribes are blocked by a large canvas sheet. 3 members from each tribe step up. canvas sheet drops down. shout the name of any member of the 3 and throw a cupful of water at him/her.

4th game: involves water bomb-bags. water warzzzzz. i got drenched trying to protect target.

lunch break. changed into OG shirt. ate dory fillet with brown sauce.

after that, we went to the hall, to learn the traditional dance.
traditional as in college tradition.
new dance partner. paired with another girl. guys with guys are absolute NONO as demonstrated by an OGL male pair acting gay.
trad. dance was fun, i think learning to dance is fun. this dance has many parts where the dancers have to shout, Whoot Whoot! while doing the Hungarian(which is a dance move,
make your right elbow and left knee meet, vice versa)

this experience has indeed changed my view on dancing.
Whole Nova group went to dance studio to choose representatives for dancing competition.
latter, we went back to hall again to learn the waltz. once again, a different dance partner. she was like 3/4 my height and she kept saying im very tall. lol.
doing a waltz involves 3 steps using an imaginary square on the floor. then change angle of feet to rotate. we had to work as a pair to give signals to change position of feet and such.
and tadaahh~ waltzing around. switch partners, waltz, switch partners, do waltz again, switch...
i've made so many friends today just by learning to dance.
cheering prep work after that.
and finally, the Cheering Competition.
fun while it lasted, all 4 tribes were screaming their lungs out. hope ppl living in those flats don't complain.


OG eats dinner, saw Kenneth Lee playing tennis in one of the tennis courts, said Hi! and he replied with a weird: im playing badly...
ok.... keep improving?

gathered in hall for the Dancing competition.
tough fight, even Melvin participated, but you did great!
and i've got to say this, there were some really awesome dancers up there.
Yancey tribe had both dancing king and queen and ended up the tribe with the highest points because the dancing king and queen gets 50,000 worth of points.
and the winner of the cheering competition was Junkers. but good job, we did give our best.

The planning committee did the 32nd mass dance.
Disco Night started after this and the dance floor was opened
woohoo, artificial fog! laser lights! Disco music! btw, the pic above was really what the stage looked like from the back of the hall when the fog was on.
we formed trains/human chains and rushed around the dance floor. others formed circles and danced away.
and disco music made everyone mildly crazy, a little high and we just mingled around. everyone jumped along the chorus of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. we put our hands in the air and jumped repeatedly.
complete strangers danced together and it was hard to find anyone from your OG group. when i did, we will just do random dancing and enjoy the music.
OGLs were up on stage showing off their dance moves while OGMs stared in awe.

it ended after 1hour, aw...
the last day of orientation ended with a debrief of tomorrow's events.

tmr's the CCA bazaar, i wonder what CCA i'll chooose, still unsure.

my whole body aches from dancing too much, crawling to bed. good night.
