3)Pre-U sem rehearsal this Saturday
4)Meet up with Melissa to do ODAC video on friday
5) planning of cake decorating
6) how to plan ODAC recreational activities!!!? picnic? hike? kie flying? aahhhhhhh....
and to add on a 7th thought:
7) my life is going to become a lot more busy from now on....
and i thought hell started, actually.... it's just starting.

today was like almost the official start of Pre-U seminar.
months of work have started unraveling.
Today was the official briefing.
thus we gathered in the canteen at 12pm and we had pizza!
we boarded the bus at 12.51pm, traveled to YJC.
a tea reception awaited us in the hall. there were plenty of other students from various polys and jcs present.
strange it may sound, we only mingled amongst ourselves.
we enjoyed the refreshments, collected our Pre-U Sem T-shirts! and a thick file with all information of the whole event inside.
headed to hall at 2pm where briefing started. was feeling enthusiastic all this while:)
briefing, well, i can say, it wasn't brief. Various teacher-in-charge explained the event and the contents of the file.
i was assigned group 9. when i flipped to near the end of the file contents. there it was, i saw myself in group 9. I was the only NYJCian in it. I took another glance, then scrutinized the list. all my assigned group members were from different Jcs and polys too.
Similar for all groups too.
we were gathered in our groups in a classroom later to work on the brainstorming of ideas for our video which has to be based on 3 values stated which i will elaborate on next time.
we had to use a theme based on the letters I & V. we came up with Innovation & Variety after much voting.
our grouped seemed really shy, hope I can make more friends the next meeting. took the bus then the train home with Nicholas, a new friend. well, actually, the first friend i made during that one hour in the classroom. He's from NUS high school of maths & science. chatted on the way home.
oh, i found out that Tan Zhi Xian is also in this event. Yay, looking
forward to meeting you Kenneth:D

ODAC exco elections was a bittersweet experience i must say
interview puts a lot of obstacles in my way
it lasted till late at night
many of us had to fight
the tough questions that bombarded us
yet some of us managed to pass
congrats to those elected
we are all feeling elated
that you have assumed the role
and you are on a ROLL!
lead us to become a better, stronger, next batch of ODACians!
for the rest of us
it is a must
we give our utmost support
and build a better rapport.
so thats my poem for odac exco 2010.
and yea, i had a bittersweet day, but don't ask why, because.....
im.... too......

Its been a week since i last blogged XD
yea, im lazy to blog. with so much stuff to do.
GPP's one reason...
the, my pre-u sem project's another...
plus a plethora of random class tests...
ok,enough of that.
im here to blog today, so i'll shall stop whining.
k, ODAC's presidential elections was held yesterday.
and so the president is: Su Fern and the vice-president is: Melvin :D
i was quite happy with this outcome. because they seemed to be the best choice for the positions.
hopefully i can get the role of PTI, but if someone can do this role better then me, i don't mind.
been training todo pull-ups almost everyday. from only managing 2 before NAPFA, i can now do 5 or 6. i think its good improvement.
my goal is to do 10 by year end.
i can't seem to do well in any test... it's so dampening for me. i mean, it's just sad to keep receiving fail grades.
maybe i should put more effort, Mom says i have the potential, its just that i do too much last minute work. well, true to some extent. but i've lost much confidence, so have my class, seeing that we received almost the same grades.
Bio used to be my best subject, i hope it will be again, it's interesting to learn, but the memorising part is hard, its just content heavy...
well, maybe i should sign off now.
its lucky school starts at 9am today:D that's how i have time to blog!
i just hate the morning rush hour train crowd.... damn...

its hard to believe that PI was handed in yesterday. months of hardwork put into our final draft and submitted. it really lifted a large burden off us, but that time also marked the start of doing GPP.
man.... can't JC people have a break... its like one task after another with no pause in between.
i haven't been sleeping well for the past few weeks, often sleeping past 12am just to finish assignments on time. well, its not that i don't have the time, i do, but i often use them to catch up on sleep.
heck, i feel so sleepy now i may go back to sleep another hour before leaving for school since classes start at 9am today.
some significant stuff that happened this week, well, maybe not much since its only 2-3 days into the week.
PE lessons are mainly on handball now, i remembered playing it with 4hum buddies in Sec4. now alot of emphasis is placed on the rules.
GPP work has started, im the group leader and members are Myla, Mega and JunCheng, including me:) scheduled several meetings. we reached the meetings objectives even though we got distracted and go off topic sometimes. we could be discussing our work and we would talk about eating cheese fries the next moment XD
Trying to meet up with Mich to pay her money for concert ticket, seems like she's busier then me. well, don't stress out too much k, Mich? i miss the days where we all went out as a group, so much fun...
My card expired, thus causing much inconvenience for me. i thought i had renewed it on the top-up machine, but i was supposed to go to the ticketing office instead. so i was given a number to call, which i called, provided details and was told to await reply.... and im still waiting.
meanwhile, im using dad's card.
sigh.... finally feels what its like to have no concession.
btw, i just slept at 3am this morning and woke up at 6am. how's this for a day's worth of sleep...omg...
and you ask why, well, im had to spent so much time adding subtitles to my Pre-U seminar video, which is to be presented at YJC today.
im predicting that today, shall be a crazy tiring energy sapping day. notice i didn't use comma when i described the day. that's because the day will be fast paced, without any pauses or a breather.
reason:
interhouse games during common lunch break
presentation at YJC, i'll just have to be in charge of IT stuff.
ODAC water PT
the day will approximately end at 7-8pm and i'll reach home to start work on tutorials again.
meanwhile, the time's 7.45am, maybe i shall catch a quick nap then wake up at 8.15am
