oh hey!
I just realised my last post was the 400th one :D woot.
life so far, for me, has been busy busy busy.
another word to describe it: hectic.
sure, it may be a good experience, to know how its like to cope under lots of tasks and assignments.
well, the past 2 weeks since school started this year has been filled with overdue work, extended deadlines, late after school CCA meetings, lots of planning for upcoming events which includes Int camp, cca bazaar, math week, OCC camp, future night cycling, lifeskills workshop.(yes thats just for cca alone)
add in fiercely sarcastic teachers, tuition, a messy table and you got what i call the life of a JC2 called TanYA.

i've just packed all my stuff for Int camp, have triple checked my list equip list! Hoping to take some pictures to post after the camp is over. I'm going off tomorrow, coming back only on Monday.
Bry Bry and Headphones guy is so going to be bored, haha kidding. But it will be less lively without me, HouseA**hole, Blackguy and YK in the group during lessons. Bear with it guys:)

so im going to sleep now, because i will have to report early next morning! I'm so going to have fun being a co-facillitator to these students :D
hope to make some new friends, have fun together.

today's a horrid day for me, because i simply had to stay home to finish my homework assignments. I'm not even finished with Chem yet. plus, i need to hand them in tomorrow. there's a Bio test tomorrow too. GG

at least i borrowed Foxtrot and Pearls before Swine comics from the library today :/
they cheer me up any day. Funny comics help too.

goodluck for me tmr, my chances at evasion are high, my lucky meter in the lucky zone and the tutors are somewhat more pleasant.

So the new school term starts and i'm already lagging behind in my work assignments.
blehhh
yea, so i'm using the weekend to print them out and finish them all.
I'm not supposed to use my laptop for games anymore, that's okay, i understand that the games are time consuming. An hour can flash past quite quickly when you're occupied with the games, same goes for facebook, although im allowed to facebook ;D

i must work doubly if not super hard this year. revision of JC1 topics are gonna be tough because i have been slacking throughout the holidays (that i must admit.) which results in the homework pileup now. well, at least i finished math homework and the next assignment is due next Tuesday.

I'm printing Chem assignment meanwhile. Blogging, listening to music at the same time.
remembering my sec 2 class slogan= Deal With It. I'm determined to finish my assignments this weekend.
Tutors have been telling the class to work hard and be dilligent. They say this year is hard, if not gruelling. That's because the national exams are coming in 9 months. kind of scary if you see how limited time is.

I have decided, to plan more sports activities for myself and more revision. I plan to revise while i have time, to consult tutors more, as well as ask questions during tutorials. start right and you'll achieve a good result if you maintain it that way.

okay, about my day:
Went running with ZW, Brandon & Mich. We ran from ZW's house to the old cemetery at Potong Pasir, then back again, with the last 1km or so travelling in a bus as we thought it might rain.
In total, we ran 5+ KM. I felt quite refreshed after that, hehheh.
we then went back to ZW's house, showered, played Monopoly deal then went home.


(oooh, my notes have been printed! i just realised i take really long to do a blog post)


anyway, this someone fell sick after the run (which i found out 5 minutes ago)
and i'm going to make a get well card. Haha, so get well soon.

i really regret not finishing my holiday assignments ASAP
because im up to neck in work. damn last minute, damn stupid way to finish the holidays.
to make it worse, the deadline's the first day of school.
stupid econs project, stupid because i feel that no one cares about finishing it.
someone told me to meet at school today at 1.30pm, but kept me waiting an hour. after 1 hour, i received a message saying that the person overslept. wth...
i dont mean to scold that someone but isn't that behaviour irresponsible? i mean, you set the time you know?
that's why i dislike people to be more than 5 mins late for any sort of meeting, 10mins the max, but for special people up to 20mins.
so while waiting, i just did my part of the project. Then i found out something interesting.
the school's wifi IS better than my home's. a youtube video lasting 5 mins just takes 1 minute to fully load, compared to the my home which constantly displays "error with video", "webpage not available" or even take up to 8mins for the same video to load.
beyond doubt the home wifi sucks sometimes.

so what's up people? are you in the same predicament as me, drowning in assignments as well?
a voice in my mind tells me: "HAH! told you so! YOU SHOULD HAVE finished your work in the first 3 weeks! HAH! eat **** hahahaha!
then another voice tells me: " but holidays are meant to be enjoyed, you can't expect a person to enjoy doing questions that ask you to explain why poikotherms have higher proportions of unsaturated fatty acids than homeotherms or suggest a method by which electrical effects of paramyotonia congenita can be induced on the sodium channel or do integrations of trigonometry.


Unless you're a scientist of course. Or a jc kid who enjoys reading lecture notes.



serves me right. i agree with the first voice, but not to a large extent as the second voice voices( pun not intended) a more favourable reason.


but i soon ignored both voices, instead listening to a third one which suggest that i should snuggle up in my cosy bed in this cooling night

resolutions:

Year of the A's, so i have to work really hard,
as well as try to be more enthusiastic in econs :)
I'll try to spend less and save more, because i know that money is hard earned.
To maintain a positive attitude in life, tough people will get eyebags, as well as the goals they want to achieve.
To get my work done as soon as possible, will take note of what my godfather said.
To remember loved ones, even those who are gone and to make sure no one close to me is forgotten.
I'll try to do everything with the best of my abilities; whether in runs during training or doing assignments, because half-hearted work is a waste of effort and time.
To be as quiet as I can be past 11pm because Pa is a light sleeper.


reflections of 2010:
I can't say its a bad year, because every experience I had, good or bad, is essential in a life like mine.
good and fun times i enjoyed. distressing and stupid situations i encountered. I remember them all. I do not regret anything, except for the time when i farted in class, maybe Veron knows that, maybe she forgot, i shall not rake up that incident because its awfully embarassing.

those long runs during trainings
night cycling!

sitting at my fave place in school which is the grandstand, because its so windy.
