I'm not going to upload my Taiwan trip pictures onto blogger, its too much of a hassle if you can only upload 5 each time!

Past week:
YA went to work :)
I'm doing temp at an accounts department of a real estate company.
So far i've worked 7 days. I must say it was one of the best experiences of my life.
The bore of the work, the stress of answering phone calls, pacifying irate callers and the sheer amount of paperwork to be done menially.
And of course, the generosity and kindness of both the office staff and the property agents alike, the camaraderie between them is also amazing, the humor that goes on in the office, the joy of having meals with your colleagues and sharing wonderful food. (we love food so much)

It was my first job in an office environment, so it was an eye-opener for me.
I rather enjoyed it! i really did overall...
people compliment you when you do a good job, people don't compliment you when you do a good job and only people become rude to you over the phone. (that's why i dislike answering phone calls!)

For the first few days, i was taken under the wings of teacher Joy who patiently and meticulously taught me how to do tasks around the office, most importantly how to do paperwork and navigate the company's server.

I learnt how to deal with calls asking for inquiries about commission, it was a rather nerve wrecking task at first especially if they asked for their project status, many steps had to be undertaken to obtain the information. I slowly grew accustomed to this. I like people that are so polite over the phone. I learnt to process receipts and do checking, process checks as well as file them.
I also made a few new friends. Also, i was the youngest in the office, haha.

For the past few days, i did work in the meeting room, away from the phones :D
I must admit that office work is monotonous. What spices it up are the various events that take place in it!
Treats are common in my workplace, agents do treat us quite well.
Well... im gaining weight already. eerrgghhh
we have bubble tea sessions at least once per week and KOI is conveniently located next to our work building.

Christmas was coming soon and everyone was in a festive mood. I shamefully admit that I experienced the joy of receiving much more than that of giving.
