hello there! It's been a while since I composed something here so here's a current update of my life.
My NS life has been busy lately, doing force prep for exercise and configuring laptops as well as server blades have been mentally exhausting. Its also quite unhealthy because I apparently put on 3 kilos within that week from sitting on my fat butt while clicking away on the mouse.
Many might envy the typical life of a IS trained operator, which is less vigorous in physical training as well as less dirty.
Its actually quite exhausting to the mind, to configure 200 laptops a day. Not complaining since its already quite relaxing compared to peeps in Recce. We also pump POL which is just so greasy and dirty.
Troubleshooting network problems are stressful, especially when your superiors are standing beside you and especially when you know that a fellow Server peep is in another camp far far away.
Lately, I've been thinking that online games are a time waster. I've been thinking that they are but a fleeting moment of happiness, never truly lasting. Perhaps I should invest my time in something more productive like reading....
Which is why I bought Train Man from Kino yesterday! It is an awesome read. It is filled with the anxieties of a socially awkward man who seeks advice on dating a girl he had saved from a drunkard in a train station.
It is printed net forum style, which is rather interesting. Comments from netizens are especially entertaining and Train Man's heart pumping quest for love draws you into this little book. I almost squealed in delight as i read through the book! Reading progress is 50%, so i'll read the rest while in camp.
weelll, almost time for me to book in. BYE
sigining off.
