Parallel parking is hard... But I think I'll get the hang of it soon!
Today, I practiced how to parallel park in a quiet carpark. Mr Instructor used wooden beams to mark the boundaries of the parking space representing the kerb and guided me quite patiently.
It involved a lot of wheel handling but with more practice, I'll be doing it like a seasoned driver!
I'm also excited for my family trip this year. Guess what, I'll be visiting Bangkok once more! I can imagine the hustle and bustle of the city, its narrow alleyways with roadside vendors hawking their wares.
Food shops abound, selling delicious fried/barbecued meats, savoury Pad Thai, juicy fruit skewers and smoky Plah Plow.
Then we'll walk in this weekend market again that resembles a giant Pasar Malam and explore its every nook and cranny for good deals, wares and trinkets.
The only downside is the 2 hour wait at a Naraya store while my Mother browses through its endless bags and accessories while waxing lyrical about its stitching and flowery designs as well as how her colleagues admire the bags she brought back from previous trips.
This I got to learn to get the hang of.
For now, back to army camp life.

This song i'm sharing is made of rhetorical questions, where the topic of love is posed and if issues of such will ever have solutions or answers. The singer conveys his message of lost love, regret and loneliness. By using lyrics like "Did the captain of the Titanic cry?" and "Does anybody know the way to Atlantis?", the singer expresses the impossibility of a simple solution for a complex emotion/feeling/state/attitude/action called Love.
I like it simply because its awesome hearing it while you daydream, or when you're solving the world's problems on the loo, or feeling pensive while basking in weekend afternoon sunlight.
Lyrics
Ninety Miles outside Chicago
Can't stop driving, I don't know why
So many questions need an answer
Two years later you're still on my mind
Whatever happen to Amelia Earhart?
Who holds the stars up in the sky?
Is true love just once in a lifetime?
Did the captain of the Titanic cry?
Someday we'll know if love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know why I wasn't meant for you
Does anybody know the way to Atlantis?
Or what the wind says when she cries?
I'm speeding by the place that I met you
For the 97th time tonight
Someday we'll know if love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know why I wasn't meant for you
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Someday we'll know why Samson loved Delilah
One day I'll go dancing on the moon
Someday you'll know that I was the one for you
I bought a ticket to the end of the rainbow
And watched the stars crash in the sea
If I could ask God just one question
Why aren't you here with me tonight?
Someday we'll know if love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know why I wasn't meant for you
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Someday we'll know why Samson loved Delilah
One day I'll go dancing on the moon
Someday you'll know that I was the one for you
