Parallel parking is hard... But I think I'll get the hang of it soon!

Today, I practiced how to parallel park in a quiet carpark. Mr Instructor used wooden beams to mark the boundaries of the parking space representing the kerb and guided me quite patiently.
It involved a lot of wheel handling but with more practice, I'll be doing it like a seasoned driver!

I'm also excited for my family trip this year. Guess what, I'll be visiting Bangkok once more! I can imagine the hustle and bustle of the city, its narrow alleyways with roadside vendors hawking their wares.
Food shops abound, selling delicious fried/barbecued meats, savoury Pad Thai, juicy fruit skewers and smoky Plah Plow.
Then we'll walk in this weekend market again that resembles a giant Pasar Malam and explore its every nook and cranny for good deals, wares and trinkets.
The only downside is the 2 hour wait at a Naraya store while my Mother browses through its endless bags and accessories while waxing lyrical about its stitching and flowery designs as well as how her colleagues admire the bags she brought back from previous trips.
This I got to learn to get the hang of.
For now, back to army camp life.
